She's one seriously stylish hound...

Earlier this week the lovely Sara White from StyleTails.com popped over to my flat to 'interview' my wire-haired dachshund Juno. We chatted for hours about vintage fashion, dogs, old movies, perfume and... more dogs.

StyleTails.com is dedicated to London-based pet owners who work in fashion and design. Previous interviews include handsome whippet "Marlowe", owned by online fashion editor at Wallpaper* Apphia Michael, a bouncy Pomeranian - "Butters"- owned by Kristin Knox (aka The Clothes Whisperer), then "Rosie and Jimmy" - two gorgeous lurchers owner by former editor-in-chief of Drapers magazine Eric Musgrave. Read my (sorry, Juno's) full interview here.

If you're a dog-loving fashionista I really recommend Dogs in Vogue: A Century of Canine Chic. It's a lavishly illustrated coffee-table book full of amazing photographs:

My new blog for the FT's How To Spend It...

A few weeks ago I was contacted by the FT. An acquaintance there had seen my Hallowe'en newsletter and got in touch to ask if I could write a blog about vintage fashion for their How To Spend It section.

I was thrilled to bits... all of a sudden my head was swimming in ideas and I couldn't wait to start. My first blog came out yesterday and is about appointment-only vintage fashion dealers and rental agencies in New York. To read online please click here.

In the blog I mention a couple of notorious party scenes. These clips show the precise moments when the wheels come off and the parties really start...

A special thank you to Southpaw Vintage and Julie Skinner at Postscript Couture.
